Associate Veterinarian
Our ideal veterinarian is confident, takes initiative, and is a team player. Interests in business/operations/leadership and/or ultrasound will also be a plus! With our doctors’ vast experience comes a passion for mentorship, so a new veterinarian will be able to shadow Dr. Syken; we are flexible and can provide whatever amount of supervision is requested. In addition to flexible hours and scheduling, our practice also does not have any on call expectations!

Full Time Veterinary Technician
Our two-doctor practice is excited to add another full-time Veterinary Technician to our team! We are looking for a technician with a strong interest and three to five years of experience in veterinary medicine. Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Additional education in applied science, veterinary technology a plus
- We will train the right candidate as needed
Essential Functions:
- Able to perform basic animal handling and restraint
- Assist veterinarians to position for radiographs
- Assist veterinarians in the practice of veterinary medicine and surgery
- Perform in-hospital lab testing and prepare specimens for outside labs
- Assist veterinarians in outpatient exams by taking histories, vital signs, and weights as well as providing client education
- Collect and prepare diagnostic samples
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Assist in maintaining practice equipment
- Assist veterinarians in any other assigned tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of surgery suite, treatment area, and exams rooms for all surfaces
- Support DEA compliance as it relates to role
- Any other duties as assigned
Job Types: Full-time, some evenings and some weekends possible
Salary: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
